Voting Day Thoughts - The Governor's Race

It's voting day next Tuesday, November 7th. Be sure to get out there and vote. As to some of my thoughts about the current state of affairs, here they are. Take 'em or leave 'em:

Governor of Maryland:

I don't want Maryland to have casinos because of what I've seen it do to other towns and states. I think Maryland should raise the minimum wage, and that workers should have health insurance. I certainly don't believe that our park lands and seemingly protected open space should be sold to developers who contribute large sums of money to campaigns.

Those are some of the reasons why I won't be voting for our current governor, Bob Ehrlich on election day.

For a short history on Ehrlich's views on open space click here.

good for you for giving a crap about voting. I read too many blogs where people just don't care what's going on. I'm Canadian, but voting is important everywhere! So good work!
