Hee. I still sort of remember the song: Smurfberry Crunch is fun to eat, Smurfberry Crunch is fun to eat, something something something, it tastes like crunchy smurfberries etc etc. Okay, clearly I don't remember it all that well. But it was set to Tchaikovsky, I remember that much. My brother says there's a smurfs movie in the works, too. Can you tell my brain has gone totally random due to thesis stress? Happy blog birthday!
my wife and our friends were just talking about this cereal yesterday when we were out chopping down x-mas trees - well, i was talking about it and the others said i was nuts . . . but i think the song went something like: Smurfberry Crunch is fun to eat, a [something, something] breakfast treat; Made by Smurfs with Smurfberries, a [something something something something]; [something something something something]; in Berry red and Smurfy blue. the last part i seem to remember being sung by Grumpy Smurf (i think that was his name) in his usual grouchy tone. but then again, i was only 8 at the time so i could be wrong.
though i definitely remember Fruity Pebble treats - i still love those . . .
To the tune of the Nutcracker Suite --- smurf berry crunch is fun to eat. A smurfy fruity breakfast treat. Made by smurs so happily, they tast like cruchy smurf berries. It's fun to eat and tasty too. In berry red and Smurfy blue!
Singing the Smurf Berry Crunch jingle was one of three capital offenses in my elementary school music class, along with mispronouncing the word "bass" (not the fish) and mispronouncing Richard Wagner's name.
We are a group of runners who train together, race together, and run together just for the pure joy of it! We thought we'd share our race, gear, and running knowledge with you!
