Last week, the husband and I went to see R.E.M. at Merriweather. Added bonuses were sets from The National and Modest Mouse.
While Modest Mouse didn't play "Paper Thin Walls", they did sound awesome, and totally made up for completely sucking at the Black Cat all those years ago.
R.E.M. were kick ass, as usual. They played a great set, and are still my favorite band.
